Kris Allen stole Adam Lambert's crown.
I think the world did collectively gasp as Ryan announced Kris's name as the winner.
Although I wasn't a Glambot, I DEFINITLEY felt he should have won. Glambert is infinitely more entertaining than the sweet but boring Kris Allen. See, Kris doesn't even have a nickname. No, Kris just wasn't for me. The only performance that made me squeal was his Man in The Mirror one where he bounced around the stage, licked his lips, and closed his eyes a lot. The rest of the guitar-playing, side mouth singing stuff just wasn't for me. Glambert, on the other hand, killed the entire show perfomance after performance with his beautiful peacock performances mixed in with a whole lotta glam rock.
So why do you think Adam lost? Was there too much steam for him all season that he lost it from the audience? Or did Middle America lamely chicken out with potentially having a most-likely gay American Idol?
In the end, Adam will put out some pyschedelic shit on his new album whereas Kris will be stuck singing the Kara DioGuardi penned song "No Boundaries." The mountains, the hurricanes...

Kara DiGi is Staying on Idol
...according to Simon Cowell while taping for The Ellen Degeneres Show.
I was pretty sure they wouldn't just use her for a season and get rid of her. It's embarrasing on behalf of Idol.
Paula still hasn't re-signed her contract.

Should American Idol Keep the 4 Judges?
According to this article, http://tv.yahoo.com/blog/tvguidecom-readers-get-rid-of-kara--292, 60% of you think Kara DioGuardi should leave Idol.
Here is what I think based on the article: Because Simon's contract ends after 2010's season and has stated that he is likely to leave, then we should keep the 4-judge lineup as it is for next season ONLY. Once/if Simon leaves, American Idol should reasess the 3 judges, Randy, Paula, and Kara, and decide who among them should stay but still ONLY keep it a 3-judge lineup. There is just not enough time for any of them to talk with the 4 judges. I personally think they should only keep 1 of 3 remaining judges; and I'm leaning towards Randy or Paula.

This Week's American Idol Theme
Supposedly the theme is rock music, and Slash of Guns N'Roses is mentoring. Um, OK? I think this will totally be Allison and Adam's week. Could we see Allison in the finals?
