Britney Spears' Circus Concert at Allstate in Chicago

The Britney Spears' Circus concert was on Tuesday and Wednesday at the Allstate Arena and we went on Tuesday. We were immediately told that this was a soldout show and to make sure we sat in the right seat number! Ah yes, was it packed. Packed with teenager girls, 20-something girls, moms, a few eager male fans, and fewer devoted boyfriends.

The Pussycat Dolls performed first, and I could have sworn Nicole (the lead diva of the group) was singing live during most of the concert! You go girl! The same cannot be said for Britney.

I knew not to expect Britney Jean Spears to sing live for most of the concert, but she did not sing ONE NOTE live. I'm fine with that as long as our pop diva is ready to amaze us with her manic dancing, as memorably exhibited at this 2000 VMA performance. But there was maybe 10 minutes of the entire show that we saw her impressive dance skills, and the rest was her posing, walking strongly, or being caressed. I understand she's not 17 anymore, so she's not going to be the exact same sure-footed little minx we grew up with, but I was a bit disappointed to not see her showcase her pop divaness. Yes folks, Britney has lost some of performance magic. She seems a little empty to me. But here's the thing: Britney has made one helluva turnaround in the past year. If we give her 1 more year, she might come back full circle.

Was I entertained during the show? Yes, absolutley! The song set was AMAZING. We heard ALL of our favorites from the past 10 years (Toxic, Everytime, Break the Ice, Piece of Me...), and the segues between songs were perfect. The audience was on its feet the entire time; so many of us were moving to the music with smiles plastered on our faces. And the arena erupted in pure joy when Baby One More Time began to play.

I sat in the upper section with an unobstructed view. At one point, I was offered a ticket to SIT IN THE LOWER SECTION because someone didn't show. I really wanted to, you know, for important editorial purposes, but I did the right thing I stayed with my dear BF so we could enjoy the show togther.

I'm glad I got to see Britney, and I was pleased with the show. I just wish Britney can continue to improve so we can fall in love with her performances all over again.

What the hell are The Hills without Lauren?

So The Hills has signed on for another season even though Lauren won't be on it. The rest of the gang will continue. I'm sure it won't stink completely, but it will probably will be as good as 90210 was without Brenda. Yea, 90210 definitley sucked more without Brenda.

Get ready for more fake relationship trouble between Speidi, nosiness and trouble-making from Stepanie, and blank stares of conflict over JB with Audrina!

Are Selena Gomez and Taylor Lautner Dating?

That's the rumor.

I think Selena is a sweetie and they would be the cutest couple EVER, but I'm not gonna lie: my dear old woman's heart always break a little when I hear dating rumors about Taylor. Ladies, go and have your vampire Rob Pattinson, I want my werewolf!

*Update. I found out Tay-tay is only 16. This I cannot deal with. Back to Cedric Diggory it is.*

Susan Boyle:No More Loneliness?

Susan Boyle tells Larry King that she expects one thing to be true about her sudden fame:

"I won't be lonely any more."

AWWWWWW! Bless her, I hope that is true.

I'm really not sure why I'm feeling motherly towards a 47-year-old. Why are we so invested in this woman? I know I'm not the only one.

Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian Get Their Own Reality Show

Yay! It's called Kourtney and Khloe in Miami and focuses on them opening a new Dash store in Florida.

It should start airing in August.

Does that mean the Denise Richards reality show is cancelled?

Stephanie Pratt Hates Confrontation. BAHAHA!

Watch this clip from this Monday's episode:

http://tvwatch.people.com/2009/04/17/exclusive-lauren-schools-stephanie-pratt-on-the-hills/

This is coming from the lady who originally met Lauren by telling her to stop messing with Heidi and Spencer. The she decided to date Lauren ex-boyfriend. Last week, she called some girl a slut within earshot. She is also Spencer Pratt' sister, and she's "really bad at confrontation"? COME ON, NOW!

One too many therapy sessions for Stephanie Pratt and her "self-aware" statements.

The Hills Premiere

Pretty bitchin' premiere of The Hills last night! The Heidi-Lauren reconciliation went like this...

Stephanie Pratt couldn't mind her own buisness and basically invited Heidi to Lauren's birthday party. She also failed to mention to Lauren that Heidi was showing up, so that was pretty rude. Spencer finds out the "queen biy-otch" was going to be out with Heidi that night, so he decides to have a boys night (with his one male friend) and flirt with the cute bartender. Cameron, Stephanie's ex, is at the same bar and decides to give Spencer some payback for being the a$$ that he is and texts Stephanie saying Spencer is being sleay with the bartender. Spencer flips, punches Cameron, while Heidi is flippin' like the crazy co-dependent relationship lady she is about this bartender and fight.Well Lauren, despite not needing Heidi and her dramz at this party (and her life), feels some sympathy and hugs her and both ladies get a little emotional.

The next day...

Heidi went nuts and actually confronted this bartender about the flirting. Then she told Spencer what she thought (disrespect) and went home to mom and Colorado. Because Spencer has no friends, he invites Brody out for some advice. It wasn't bad advice, he was just saying what we all think that those 2; they are too co-dependent on each other and need lives outside of each other. In the meantime, Lauren rightly tells Stephanie to QUIT FORCING HEIDI ON HER...because c'mon now. Their friendship is so 2006.

All in all, these episodes were AWE-some compared to the snoozefest of last season!

La Loca Lohan Confirms Split with Sam!

Lindsay Lohan, the once respected actress of The Parent Trap and Mean Girls fame has this to say: "I'm taking a break from Sam to focus on myself."

Do you think by "focus" she means on focusing on regaining her now defunct acting career or focusing on hooking up with boyz again?

I'm just asking, people. Personally, I enjoy a comeback and enjoyed wathcing Mean Girls last night on ABC Family, so here's hoping she pulls a Britney.

That's It, Not Following Speidi on Twitter Anymore: Barfworthy Quotes to MTV News

Heidi on Lauren's departure from The Hills:

"We don't need her. "We'll miss her. I just don't know if we need her."

Uh, right. As if you and Spencer are likeable enough to watch without the dramz you create with Lauren?

Spencer on Lady Gaga:

"I can't get over that she is a huge pop icon of the world. People are acting like she's the new Britney Spears ... I don't know even why this girl gets so much attention and press. I guess if you dress like a fool and have crazy, ridiculous haircuts, people start paying attention."

Fine, have that opinion, but then he has this to say:

"People are calling Lady Gaga the pop princess, [so] what's Heidi - the pop queen?"

Asked to name five artists Heidi is more talented than: Pratt said,
"Madonna,Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, Beyonce, and Christina Aguilera."

I don't think that's even the loving boyfriend card. That's the delusional, "let's create some buzz" card.

Wait, that's what they're trying to do! Silly me for paying attention.

And Perez Says It's His Baby

So, yes, it's a joke.

Heidi Montag Reporting She is Pregnant

Heidi Montag and friend Perez Hilton are reporting that she is pregnant on their repective Twitter pages.

I'm calling April Fool's joke of these publicity whores.
